Data Download User Guide

The Data Download Entry Form provides two methods, Email or Ticket Id, to check status of your requests submitted from the Event-based or Station-based Data Retrieval pages. Both methods will lead the user to a bundle status page. Once a bundle is ready to be downloaded, a button associated with that bundle will show up on the page. The user can simply click on the button to retrieve the waveform data.

Email Method:

1. Enter your Email in the Email text box shown in the Data Download Entry Form. The Email should be the same as the Email address you entered in the Data Request Review Form submitted with the original request.
2. Click on the button.
3. Wait until you receive the Email sent by Data Services. The Email contents will look similar to following figure:

4. Click on the hyperlink "Refresh Status of Ticket Ids", your web browser will bring up the Data Download Page similar to following figure:
   
   
   or click on any hyperlink of Ticket Ids, your web browser will bring up the Single Data Bundle Download page similar to following figure:
   
   
5. Click on any button on the page to download the associated bundle. If the bundle's status is not "done", you can either click on the button to retrieve the latest status or wait for a while. The download page will automatically refresh every 10 seconds until all bundles are ready to be downloaded.

Ticket Id Method:

1. Enter Ticket Id in Ticket Id text box then click on the button. The web site will return the Single Data Bundle Download page similar to:
   
   
2. Click on the button on the page to download. If the bundle's status is not "done", you can either click on the button to retrieve the latest status or wait for a while. The download page will automatically refresh every 10 seconds until the bundle is ready to be downloaded.
